Andrea, Juan Carlos, and Sunny at Quarter Acre Farm

Who We Are

Quarter Acre Farm was started in 2008 by Andrea Davis-Cetina in Sonoma, CA. While in Sonoma Andrea met Juan Carlos when working together at a restaurant. Sparks flew and they married in 2010. A few years back Andrea and Juan Carlos moved cross country, returning to Andrea’s home state of Maryland. The 2019 season was the farm’s first season growing on the east coast, on a half an acre of leased land in Tilghman. That same year Juan Carlos became active in the business by creating Quarter Acre Farm EATS bringing his culinary talents to the operation making prepared food to serve at the farmers’ market.

In late 2021, things got a bit bigger when 12 acres of land and an old farmhouse were purchased in Greensboro near the banks of the Choptank River in Caroline county. The farm has finally found it’s forever home in the fluffy sandy loam soil of Maryland’s Eastern Shore. Sunny joined the crew in 2023 as the resident farm dog. She was adopted from a local humane society, Sunny is a beautiful mix of cane corso, neapolitan mastiff, and rottweiler. She takes her job as Farm Security Guard and Chief Tomato Tester very seriously.

At Quarter Acre Farm we provide vegetables & seedlings with agricultural expertise along with delicious prepared food.

We specialize in organic heirloom tomatoes, peppers, tomatillos, sweet potatoes, garlic, and a wide range of vegetable seedlings selling directly to consumers at the local Easton farmers’ market.

We only use regenerative growing methods: no pesticides, herbicides, or petroleum-based products are ever used on the land.
