Women in Farming

I have been following the cross-country journey of two wonderful women, Caitrin Hall and Lake Buckley.  They have recently finished this amazing journey which they did all by bicycle.

What makes this cross-country journey so important is that during their ride they documented women food producers who are creating and maintaining alternative food systems.  I had hoped they would be able to swing by Quarter Acre but it wasn’t possible.  Instead they asked me to write a guest blog post for their website, which I was honored to write.  Check out my post, Do You Work For Your Husband?
