It is raining again and I couldn’t be happier, this is what a Northern California winter is supposed to be about. Grey and cloudy, raining when you wake up and then falling asleep to raindrops tapping on your roof.
This weather encourages important farm work that has to be done on the computer like taxes. When the sun is shining bright its hard for a farmer to stay inside glued to the computer screen. During this rainy weather I have been at my desk with a warm cup of coffee and lots of various invoices, receipts, and bills; preparing them all to go my CPA to complete the farm’s tax return. It is annoying work that has to get done but this year I’m so happy to be doing it during a rain storm.
