In the winter we slow down a bit and we are not out in the public much, but behind the scenes life at Quarter Acre Farm keeps chugging along. While the fields rested, we’ve been hard at work preparing for a new season — and we’re excited to see you at the Easton Farmers’ Market starting April 12th.

Winter Work and Spring Prep
Our garlic, planted in November and December, is sprouting beautifully, promising an abundant harvest of scapes and garlic heads. The greenhouse is overflowing with seedlings — heirloom tomatoes, peppers, and more — all growing strong and ready to make their debut in April.

In January, we attended the PASA Sustainable Agriculture Conference where we deepened our knowledge of regenerative farming practices. We’re continually working to farm in harmony with the land, using natural methods to nurture the soil and grow vibrant produce.

What to Expect This Year
When the market opens, you can expect seedlings for your garden with colorful displays of fresh produce soon to follow. Of course we will be making delicious farm-fresh tacos, quesadillas, and pico de gallo from Quarter Acre Farm EATS. This year we’re excited to bring you the best from our fields — whether it’s a sweet, juicy heirloom tomato or a perfectly roasted sweet potato.
See You in April!
We can’t wait to see familiar faces and meet new ones when the market opens. Follow us on the socials (Instagram and Facebook) and keep an eye on our newsletter for updates on what’s growing and what’s cooking.
Here’s to a season of good food, community, and connection — see you at the market! 🌱
