This Saturday, December 13th, is our final Easton farmers’ market of the year, and we’re sending the season off right: warm food, holiday tunes, stacked crates of late-season produce, thoughtful local gifts, and easy ways to stock up before winter. Come early, bring a tote (or buy one at the market), and leave with a pantry and freezer full of things that make cold nights cozy. We’ll be there from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and the grill will be going the whole time.

Why This Saturday Matters
This is your last chance until April to grab Quarter Acre Farm produce, prepared foods, and small-batch goods. Supporting us now helps keep the farm sustainable through winter months. So if you want farm food through the cold months, this Saturday is the time to fill your shelves or freezers.

Our Winter Sale 🎉 Mix & Match Savings
To make stocking up easy, we dropped prices on the crops that store best:
- Pumpkins & Butternut Squash: $1.50 / lb (or $1.25 / lb when you buy 10+ lbs)
- Sweet Potatoes: $2.25 / lb (or $2.00 / lb when you buy 10+ lbs)
You can mix and match varieties to reach the 10 pound discount — perfect for roasting, pies, soups, and long winter storage. These are our best produce discounts of the whole season.
Garlic Packs: Last Chance
Our Farmer’s Choice garlic packs are back for the last market: heirloom, certified organic, and a fantastic value for cooking or planting. We’ll bring 1-lb and 2-lb packs to the market, but if you’d like ¼ lb, ½ lb, or 5 lb sizes, please pre-order online to reserve exactly what you want. (And yes, it’s still a fine time to plant garlic in December.)

Stocking Stuffers & Small Gifts
Looking for easy, local gifts that matter? Well we got you covered, we’ll have:
- Farm-grown luffa sponges (various sizes) — perfect for scrub-a-dub-dubing in the shower or at the kitchen sink
- Quarter Acre Farm hot cocoa mix — dairy-free and gluten-free
- Our playful farm magnets — share the love our tacos, quesadillas, and heirloom tomatoes
These small items travel well and are lovely ways to share a little local flavor with friends and family. Our luffas and magnets are also available to be shipped nationwide, click here to place your order for shipping.

Warm Food for the Market Morning
Juan Carlos will be cooking through the morning with a menu designed to warm you up and send you home full:
- Breakfast special: Pesto con Papas Quesadilla, our garlic scape pesto along with roasted potatoes in a cheesy quesadilla
- Hot soup: Roasted tomato (made from our summer tomatoes and garlic), available by the pint or quart
- Frozen take-home meal: Pork loin chop with roasted potatoes, ready to heat and eat
We will of course also have our beloved regular menu and beverages available as well.
What We’re Bringing from the Fields
This week’s harvest highlights:
- Sunchokes: great roasted or in winter soups
- Multiple heirloom garlic varieties: bold and roasting-friendly
- Pumpkins (Seminole, Black Futsu, Long Island Cheese): wonderful for long storage and baking
- Butternut squash: baby and regular size
- Sweet potatoes: purple and white varieties
- Farm-grown luffas: limited quantities (they make great eco gifts)
Bring home the flavors that only local, regenerative farming can deliver.
How to Guarantee What You Want
If you need particular sizes or want to reserve ready-to-heat meals, garlic packs, or take-home items like guacamole, pre-order online and we’ll pack it up for market pickup. That’s the best way to make sure your favorites don’t sell out by mid-morning. (We’ll hold orders for pickup whether you arrive at 8 a.m. or noon.)
Come for the Food, Stay for the Community
Market mornings this time of year feel like a little neighborhood reunion: kids bundled up, neighbors catching up over hot drinks, the familiar ritual of choosing the week’s best vegetables, and eating the special of the day. Help us close the season on a high note: come early, bring a friend, and let us send you into winter well-fed.
We can’t wait to see you on Saturday, December 13th, 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., our last Easton market until April. Thank you for supporting Quarter Acre Farm and other small-scale, sustainable businesses this year.
