This will be the last week we are offering seedlings for sale. Since it is the end of the greenhouse season all seedlings are just $2 each. We still have a nice selection of flowers, herbs, as well as hardy crops like celery and leeks.

Make sure to place your seedling order through our online shop to be able to browse our full selection as our space in the van is limited and not every variety makes it to the farmers market unless it has been ordered.
We have some new produce offering this week, baby butternut squash and yellow hot peppers.

Our baby butternuts have a rich and savory flavor profile, with just the right amount of sweetness. This variety is called Brûlée and each fruit averages just about a half a pound. The yellow hot peppers are called Aji Chinchi Amarillo, they are fruity and flavorful, with medium-high heat. Aji Amarillo peppers are commonly used in Peruvian cuisine.
Our special this week will be our Cochinita Tacos. Following the Yucatecan tradition we slow roast pork in banana leaves with annatto seeds (achiote), spices, and lime juice. This delicious pork is then served on a warm corn tortilla and garnished with pickled purple onions.

Our guacamole is a delicious compliment to the cochinita, you can get a small side of it to go with your taco or you can get a pint or a quart to enjoy at home. Our fresh guacamole is made from ripe avocados, fresh cilantro, hand squeezed lime juice, kosher salt and a little black pepper; that’s it no fillers. This is what avocados dreams are made of!
