June has kicked into high gear, and around here that means pesto in the fridge, tacos on the grill, and tomato vines growing by the minute. Whether you’re hungry, planting, or both we’ve got you covered.
Let’s start with the most important question: What’s for dinner?
This Saturday’s take-home meal is a hearty serving of penne pasta tossed in our fresh garlic scape pesto and paired with handmade meatballs. It’s simple, comforting, and packed with farm-fresh flavor. We make our pesto from scratch with our garlic scapes, blended with olive oil, parmesan, spinach, walnuts, kosher salt and just a pinch of black pepper. No fillers, no preservatives, just real ingredients that shine. Pre-order your take-home meal through our online shop.

While we’re on the subject of garlic scapes this fleeting seasonal delight is still available, but not for long (maybe just 1 week more)! You can grab a few bunches or snag a pint of that fresh pesto to keep on hand for quick weeknight meals, sandwich spreads, or jazzing up your roasted veggies. Trust us: you’ll miss it when it’s gone.
And speaking of delicious, our Saturday taco special is Chorizo Tacos! Sautéed beef chorizo with onions, on warm corn tortillas and topped with our signature pico de gallo. Want to make it more breakfast-y? Add an egg and go to town. Juan Carlos will be cooking them up fresh at the Easton farmers’ market, so come hungry.
Tomatoes are on Schedule
Meanwhile, in the field, our tomatoes are taking their first tie-up of the season and we even spotted some baby green cherry tomatoes! That means we’re on track to have sweet, juicy pints of cherry tomatoes ready by early July. It’s one of our favorite milestones of the year.

If you haven’t planted your tomatoes yet, don’t worry you still have time! We’ll be transplanting our second tomato planting next week, and we’ll continue to offer our organically grown heirloom tomato seedlings through Father’s Day weekend. Choose from 25 stunning, flavorful varieties in our online shop and give your summer garden a serious upgrade.
See You at the Market
So grab your market tote, pull on your sunhat, and make Quarter Acre Farm’s booth your first stop this Saturday. Whether you’re craving tacos, need a pesto fix, or want to plant one more tomato, we’ve got what you need to make your weekend extra tasty.
